No more scrolling past car parts and used furniture to find a bilge pump. boatparts.app exists only for boats, so every category, filter and question already makes sense — you never have to explain what you need twice.
Today that trade is scattered across hundreds of Facebook and WhatsApp groups, one per region, each with its own rules and a search box that barely works. This puts them in one place: proper categories, filters that understand marine hardware, and a map you can zoom to your own marina or anchorage — to see what is for sale within walking distance of your boat, or to put your own spares in front of the crews moored around you.
And when you move on, your listings move with you. No re-posting the same gearbox in a new group at every marina and anchorage — the app asks once whether to bring your listings along, and the crews in the next bay see them as local.
