What this service is

boatparts.app is an online marketplace where users offer and look for boat parts. Listings, photos, profile details, messages and ratings are created and published by users, not by us. We do not sell the items listed, we are not a party to any sale between users, and we do not review listings before they appear. Our role and responsibilities are described in the Terms of Service.

We are responsible for our own content on this website and in the app. We are not responsible for content that users create and publish, and we have no general obligation to monitor it or to actively look for signs of unlawful activity.

This reflects our position as a hosting provider under Art. 6 of the EU Digital Services Act and, in the United States, under 47 U.S.C. § 230. Both come with the same condition, which we take seriously: once we become aware of specific illegal content, we act on it. The boatparts.app name, logo, design, text and software are protected by copyright and trademark law and belong to Thumanns LLC, unless marked otherwise. You may not reproduce, adapt or distribute them beyond what the applicable law permits without our written consent.

Photographs and descriptions in listings belong to the users who uploaded them.

If you believe material on boatparts.app infringes your copyright, write to mail@boatparts.app with enough detail to identify the work and the material complained of, and we will act on it. The full notice-and-takedown procedure, including notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, is in section 16 of the Terms of Service.
