Quicksilver Activ 805 Cruiser
The Activ 805 Cruiser is an outboard day cruiser and weekender with a 7.63 m hull from Quicksilver, the boat brand of Brunswick Marine in EMEA, launched in August 2014 at the top of the Activ Cruiser line and still in the builder’s product sheet for model year 2024. It takes one or two Mercury outboards of up to 400 hp in total, is designed for CE category C with nine people and sleeps four in one cabin, on a forward double and a mid berth under the cockpit, with a separate head compartment. Quicksilver delivered it with outboard pre-rigging and put the fridge, stove, toilet, plotter and stereo into the Cockpit Comfort, Cabin Comfort and Electronics packs (all three as the SMART Edition), so equipment varies from boat to boat; the sister models Activ 805 Sundeck, Open and Pro Fish are not covered here. Quicksilver publishes no owner’s manual for the boat online: it comes through the dealers, and the Brunswick Download Center only holds the manuals for Mercury engines, SmartCraft instruments, parts and warranty.

Good to know
- Equipment depends on the packs the first owner ordered: fridge and LPG stove came in the Cockpit Comfort Pack, the sea toilet in the Cabin Comfort Pack, the 9″ Simrad plotter, Fusion stereo and VesselView Link in the Electronics Pack, or all of it together in the SMART Edition. Check what is actually aboard rather than going by the brochure.7,1
- Quicksilver delivered the boat with outboard pre-rigging and the engine was chosen with the dealer, so one 805 Cruiser can have a single F150 and the next twin Verados. The builder’s lists name the engines without the full Mercury model code, and early twin rigs could include counter-rotating CT models: note the model and serial number on each engine’s ID plate before ordering parts or a propeller.1,4,5
- Brunswick’s Download Center has lists that give a Mercury engine’s model year from its serial number, and it has the Mercury operation and maintenance manuals in many languages. There is no owner’s manual for the boat itself online: ask a Quicksilver dealer or Brunswick Marine in EMEA.13,14,12
- A listing with 7.88 m and one with 8.29 m can be the same boat: every builder list gives a 7.63 m hull, and only the stated overall length changed with the MY2024 sheets. The other figures moved too: weight without engine from 1730 to 1813 kg with MY2020, max. load from 1230 to 790 kg with MY2024.7,6,1
- The plotter dates the Electronics Pack: Simrad NSS evo2 9″ on 2015–2016 boats, NSS evo3 9″ with HDI transducer on 2019–2021 boats, NSS evo3S 9″ from MY2024. Spares for the evo2 are not the same as for the evo3 and evo3S, so note the exact model on the unit before ordering.10,6,7
- There is no holding tank as standard; the 80 l grey-water system with dock discharge was an option. Check where the toilet discharges on the boat you are looking at, especially if you plan to use it on inland waters.7
