Saxdor 320
The Saxdor 320 is a 10.28 m twin-stepped outboard day cruiser from Saxdor Yachts, the Finnish brand that Sakari Mattila, founder of Axopar, Aquador and XO, started in 2019; the hull was developed with J&J Design, and the boats are vacuum-infused at Saxdor’s yard in Ełk, Poland. One hull comes in three versions, each with a forward cabin with double berth and a separate head: the GTO with T-top and fold-down side terraces (from 2020), the open GTR (2020–2022, sold as 320 GT in 2023–2024) and the GTC with a full-width wheelhouse and sliding roof (from 2021). Saxdor sells the boat together with its Mercury outboards: a single V8 300 or twin V6 225 or V8 300 at first, and from 2024, when the single engine was dropped, twin V6 200 as the entry rig. The GTO was the brand’s second model and is, in Saxdor’s words, its best-selling one, with more than 300 orders by July 2021.

The MY2023 manual links the Ultraflex set to lenco.com. The Humphree interceptors had built-in underwater lights and their own display tied into the Simrad; the ‘320 Mk2’ wiring diagrams show a Humphree RCU on the trim circuit. Mercury Active Trim, which trims the engines, is separate and standard. |

The power system is monitored with the CZone app on the display. |

Good to know
- Check which rig the boat has before ordering parts: early boats often have a single Mercury V8 300 (Verado), others twin V6 225 or, from 2024, twin V6 200 FourStrokes, or twin V8 300s, and only twin-V8 boats can have the JPO joystick. The builder’s plate limits power to 600 hp and 520 kg of engines in the MY2023 GTO/GTR manual, and to 700 hp for twin outboards and 626 kg (GTO) or 638 kg (GTC) in the later manuals.12,22,36
- The optional lithium ‘generator replacement’ bank is watched in the CZone app on the chartplotter. If it runs too low or has a fault it shuts down, its safety relay opens and every 230/110 V consumer goes dead: switch the relay back on, then run the engines or plug in shore power to recharge.22
- Petrol system: the manual allows E10 at most and asks you to check the fuel filter for water twice a month, the floor of the tank compartment for liquid twice a year and the whole system for leaks once a year. For a lay-up of two months or more, empty the tank or fill stabilised ethanol-free fuel and close the manual valve on the tank; gasoline-fume sensors, where fitted, are replaced every three to four years.22
- Lift the boat only at Saxdor’s lifting points, about 5.2 m forward and 0.75 m aft of the measuring point at the end of the keel, with spreader bars long enough to clear the hull and side terraces, and never sling through the aft wings. On a trailer the boat weighs about 4.7 t.22
- The aft technical compartment hatch opens electrically from the control panel on the side terrace. The grey-water seacock is behind the storage hatch under the cockpit, the black-water seacock behind an inspection hatch behind the toilet: keep it closed except when you empty the tank with the macerator.22
- The wiring diagrams for the current boats, titled ‘320 Mk2’, are on Saxdor’s owner portal on the GTO and GTC pages; the owner’s manuals themselves only tell you to ask a dealer for a copy.40
