Axopar 37
The Axopar 37 is a walkaround day boat for two outboards from Axopar Boats of Finland, which designs its boats in Finland and builds them in Poland; the engines were never part of the boat price. The first generation, which Axopar calls Mark 1 (model years 2016–2019, 11.20 m), came as T-Top, C T-Top, Cabin, AC, Sun-Top and SC; for model year 2020 the boat was redrawn with a new 11.50 m twin-stepped hull and sold as Spyder, Sun-Top and XC Cross Cabin, so hull, deck and most fittings differ between the two. The second generation got a Mercury V10 pre-rig in 2024, a higher power limit of 2 × 400 hp from model year 2025 and the Iconic Edition trim package in 2025, and in 2026 it is still built next to a completely new model, the Axopar 38. Axopar counts more than 3,000 boats sold and names the 37 the best-selling outboard boat of 35–40 ft in the US in 2024 and 2025, so used boats and parts come up often.

Good to know
- Mark 1 (11.20 m, 2015–2019) and the second generation (11.50 m, from 2020) share the name but not the hull, deck or most fittings. The hull identification number on the starboard side of the stern tells them apart: on second-generation boats it reads like FI-AXO7A001F920, where 7A, 7B or 7C stands for Spyder, Sun-Top or XC and the last two digits give the model year.13,12,7
- The fuel tank lies in the middle of the keel; its valves and the water-separating fuel filter are under the driver’s seat. Check the filter for water regularly, and twice a year and before winter check the tank compartment: a thin hose pushed down the aluminium pipe on top of the tank reaches its lowest point, and a wet-dry vacuum empties it.13
- Bow thruster and bow windlass run on a separate Aux battery in the bow with its own main switch. A weak thruster is often just this battery; the manual limits the Side-Power SE60 to four runs of at most 30 seconds in 25 minutes.13,6
- Axopar sold the boat without engines, so rigs vary: Mercury 350 Verado L6 or 300 Verado V8 on late Mark 1 boats, Mercury V8 and later V10 pre-rigs on the second generation. On a used boat, check for VesselView or VesselLink, DTS controls and, on JPO boats, the joystick and Skyhook.3,6,11
- US-market boats have the EPA fuel system (Perko overfill prevention, carbon canister in the tank vent line), European boats do not, so fuel-system parts differ by market; the appendices to the current manuals show the fuel system with a parts list.6,13,33
- For wiring work, the MY2020–2024 owner’s manuals (32 and 47 MB) contain the complete electrical drawings with makes and fuse ratings; from model year 2025 they moved to the separate appendices. Mark 1 owners will not find their manuals on the portal: Axopar’s link leads to a SharePoint folder that asked for a Microsoft sign-in in October 2026, so ask an Axopar dealer for a copy.14,10,33,20
